Albergue de Castro

We didn't stay here, but had lunch or coffee and cake here 4 times (recovering from an illnes in a nearby casa). The new hosts are super friendly, helpful, the food was tasty. We could see each day how the hosts did everything to make space for the many pilgrims. They even bought tents and when even that wasn't enough they let pilgrims sleep under the roof of the capella and let them use their facilities.

Love the albergue. Location in the camino primitivo and Azu and Sandro were both awesome and so helpfull. They did a special plate for dinner just for me and my friends because we are vegan and vegetarian, with vegetables specific from their garden. Thank you so much for all the love and Buen Camino for you too!

The BEST albergue in consejo Grandas de Salime! Good food, ambiance and owners. Thanks for reopening ! It's a must stop!
