Hotel Roy

Service was above and beyond. We had discovered a broken binding after they dropped us at the lift. They came back, took us to a ski shop, the repair was free, and they brought us back to the lift. The food was great, especially the suppers. We spent nights playing cards in the bar with bartender Alin, who made great drinks. One slope directly across the street, to ski down to down to the big cable car, or home from the day. Very easy to ski to the SellaRonda routes. A+ in every category.

Cold, real cold inside the hotel this January. The owners turn off the heating during the night and you you return at the hotel after a full day on the slopes is still cold. More than this they took away from us the fire wood when we were trying to heat downstairs by the fire.

I wish I could give this place more stars. The value for money is crazy good! A good room, dinner and breakfast - with the use of their wellness facilities! What more could you want? The staff were very intentive. We were even able to get some laundry done, which was helpful as we were hiking and traveling around.
