Pension und Gaststätte Polenztal

A small gem along the Malerweg. Very reasonable prices, great rooms at the annex. Food is nothing fancy, but taste great and plentiful. Great when you are hiking. Same goes for the breakfast.

Food is very tasty. Had the Game Gulasch. Great flavour and good sauce. Could look smarter but not taste better. Service very attentive. For the restaurant I would give full marks. Breakfast also good. Bed was too hard for me and WiFi in the room did not work but was fine in the restaurant. Still would recommend to stop here to eat any day. And for convenience stay. One night on a firm bed is not the end of the world. Also a beer garden if you need one.

We have spent a full week there. It is ideally located for hiking. The service was great. Varied buffet breakfast, take away picnic for the day. Nice, near and clean bedrooms.
