Rainbow Hostel

I really liked staying at this hostel! We had a total of three rooms with our group and they were all quite nice. The bathrooms are clean, the kitchen is big and there are a lot of utensils, pots and pans available. The location is also perfect if you want a more quiet place to stay that's still near Dingle!

I had a very good, easygoing experience. The staff seemed lovely. I do think that camping for one person could be cheaper. More like 10e or 12e. I left as it was too expensive and plenty of place to do wild camping nearby.

Clean spacious rooms with comfy beds, all you need for a short stay. Friendly welcome and showed to our room. Location was very convenient, woke up to birds and sheep which was a nice change. However, there were an abundance of issues. There was only one toilet on the upstairs floor which was constantly in use, probably 6 or more rooms relying on one toilet is not sufficient, our room (15) was right next to the toilet. We heard everytime someone went in the toilet and heard what they were doing in the toilet. You'd think that a room next to the toilet would have some sort of soundproofing? This issue has been raised years ago by multiple travellers and nothing has been done to rectify this? In addition to this, water pipes were constantly making noise, you could hear every time someone came up the stairs or moved their chair in the lobby on the ground floor, even used the downstairs sink. Also no blind on the skylight so the room gets light very early in the morning. It's a lovely looking building for a hostel but if you want to sleep well dont come here.
