Villat Rugova

Terrible experience I stayed in these villas with a group of friends and my family, and it was a terrible experience. There was no electricity and no hot water because the boiler wasn’t working. The kitchen dishes were dirty, the bathroom was freezing, and it was impossible to take a shower. There were not enough towels, sheets, or blankets for everyone. One bedroom had no heating and was extremely cold. There was no phone signal and the Wi-Fi only worked occasionally. When we reported the lack of hot water and the poor cleanliness to the owner’s son and asked for a refund if the issues were not fixed, he insulted and verbally threatened us. I will never return.

Arrived at 4pm asking if they had a spare room with no reservation. They agreed to take me in and cooked me dinner which was the best meal I had for the whole Peaks of the Balkans tour!

The area is very beautiful, especially in the snow! Unfortunately, we can't say the same for the houses; we found them very dirty and in appalling conditions. There were 14 of us and we booked two houses. Some of us slept on the couches, with no pillows for everyone, not even hangers in the closets. There was no generator, as the area has several problems. In the bathroom, since there's no water pump, we couldn't even take a shower. When we complained to the owner, telling him we'd be leaving for the second night, he didn't do anything, and he wouldn't give us our money back. So we were forced to pay for a night in a hotel just to take a shower. If you want to go to hell, book one of these houses!
