We spent a week on the campsite in 2024. It is a secluded campsite, away from the buzz of the city life. Campsite field is adjust to farm fields with sheep and cattle grazing. Owners of the campsite are friendly, ready to assist when needed. Toilets are kept clean and tidy. 15 minutes walk leads to Porth Ysgaden and Porth Cychod. They provide fantastic snorkelling and water sports opportunity within the boundaries of the coves, away from the current of the exposed shore.

I have been coming to Porthysgaden campsite every year for 30 years. I first came in 1993 and as I was sat outside my tent I realised I could quite happily come here for the rest of my life. The Llyn peninsular is a hidden gem and even after 30 years of coming here I am still discovering places I have never been to. It is a place to be enjoyed slowly over time, you don't need to rush here because you will come again. The village of Tudweiliog is just over the fields inland and the Lion Pub awaits with it's quality food, beers & ciders. Gary the farmer at Porthysgaden is a mine of useful local information and always has time for a chat in his kitchen whenever we visit, long may our visits continue!

Ok campsite and reasonable toilet block. However, the attached photo of open overflowed sewer in front of toilet block and second of pilled up rubbish next to entrance gate tell a different story.
