Critz Cross

Critz Cross offers a charming and authentic escape, perfect for those seeking a peaceful retreat. The property itself is beautiful, with well-preserved rooms that exude character and comfort. We stayed in one of these rooms, and it felt like stepping back in time, yet with all the modern comforts you need. Taking advantage of the bikes available, we explored the picturesque surroundings, which added a wonderful touch to our stay. Both dinner and breakfast were delightful, exceeding our expectations with delicious, locally-inspired dishes. Overall, Critz Cross is a fantastic destination for a relaxing and enriching getaway.

If you look for getting a feeling on how it feels to live in the countryside, Critz Cross is the place. The establishment offers 6 rooms, decorated very nicely in original saxonian style with en-suite bathrooms. There is a big courtyard and a garden where we’ve enjoyed reading books, playing table tennis and darts. The owners are friendly and miss Gina, the lady that takes care of the place is not only super nice but cooks also the a delicious omelette in the mornings. The breakfast is not included in the price but you can request it for additional pay. Same as dinner. Both are delicious, made with quality ingredients

Had such a lovely stay here last week. The owners are so kind and the food is DELICIOUS. the place itself is gorgeous, furnished to a high standard, set around its own peaceful courtyard in a pretty village. The highlight of our whole week in Transylvania, thank you!
