Agriturismo, ristorante “Poggio delle Rocche"

Wonderful stay with super nice staff. Rooms could use some aircondition. But we know beforehand, so no problem.

We stayed here for three nights and had a fantastic time! Roberto, the host, made delicious meals using fruit and veg grown on site and was so attentive when preparing lunch, even walking us through the kitchen to show us the action! He also gave wonderful suggestions for our onward journey in Rome. Our room (Mint) was cosy and spacious, and we spent a very relaxed afternoon enjoying the pool and outdoor bar. I would recommend to all!

AAA+ We stayed at Roberto's place for a couple of nights when attending a wedding nearby. Idyllic surrounds, peaceful, quiet. The day before the wedding Roberto hosted a pool party for the bride and groom with many guests from around the world. Plenty of food and drink for everyone. Dinner with Roberto is the best. Forget about the menu and simply ask Roberto what he'd like to serve, let him decide, you won't be disappointed. The day we were leaving our car has some issues and Roberto promptly called a local mechanic and organised for us to drop the car off. This meant staying an extra night and despite the dinner service being full Roberto was able to fit us in and luckily had a vacant room for us. I can't fault his service and dedication to preparing and serving beautiful local food and wine. As a bonus the local cats kept us company while we lounged around the pool area. 5 stars, will be back. Cheers Roberto.
