Knockree Youth Hostel

Good hostel — I arrived by bike and although they don’t have dedicated bike storage, they kindly let me keep it in the conference room, which I really appreciated. I was happy to get a hot shower after riding, and the beds were comfortable. I stayed in the 6-bed female dorm; just note that the upstairs room doesn’t have charging ports, which was a bit inconvenient. Make sure to bring food with you, as there aren’t many nearby options. Overall, a good stay!

This is such a special beautiful place The hostel is so clean and fresh Big open spaces Beautiful ART on the wall Andy is great the manager I was facilitated by Liz Sheehan An Oige associate for my yoga retreat and it was sublime.Liz could not have been more helpful, as it is no easy task setting up a Yoga retreat and collaborating in all the many efforts to create the zen vibe and have it just right warm and welcoming. Liz is FIVE star all the way, thank you Liz. A perfect setting for wellness for renewal and felt like a Nature Spa to all, the students LOVED it The rooms are so clean and fresh and warm beds are comfy. I am so grateful to Liz who brought me here in it was a sucessful collaboration and I look forward to future retreats here, my students who came really praised the experience very Yogi Friendly for a hostel and they are well used to retreats so they felt it was Five star all the way too . It was their (An Oiges )first one ever my parents were members in the 1940’s so it was so so special. The nature walks we even swam in the river it was WOW! The surrounding nature was so beautiful, great area for hiking. The staff were the sweetest people. It was clean and the kitchen area was super nice, we could make our own food. Even though there was an option for having breakfast there. My friend and I loved staying here!☀️🌿
