Scarlet Hotel

Beautiful hotel in a beautiful location. Staff were attentive throughout and the food was amazing. Rooms were well appointed and spotless. Lovely beach right on the doorstep with clifftop walks. My only (small) downgrade in stars is due to the Spa not having an indoor hot tub of some description. There is a outdoor hot tub experience you can book which was admittedly amazing but its at extra cost and for a short period of time. Our favourite thing to do in a spa is laze in an indoor hot pool or similar for hours and it seemed odd such a well equipped spa didn't have one. One last thing, no slippers provided? Again very odd, never been to a spa/hotel where they don't give you slippers. Anyway as I say, small issues. This is a luxurious and wonderful hotel with wonderful staff. Thank you.

A huge thank you to all the staff at the Scarlet hotel for making our wedding anniversary so incredibly special. We got engaged there 10 years ago and for our 8th wedding anniversary I took us back. From the moment we walked in it was so special. Bex greeted us and was lovely; warm, friendly and professional. Our room was beautiful and the spa was exactly what we both needed. Everything was spotlessly clean and the whole place positively exudes really thoughtful personal touches. We had dinner that night and the food was outrageously good! Tristan in the restaurant was brilliant, his eye for detail impeccable, as were all of his recommendations. Thank you ALL so much for making our wedding anniversary unforgettably amazing!

One word only… perfection! From the initial warm welcome with champagne on arrival we knew this was going to be a perfect stay. Gorgeous room with stunning sea views, hot tub session, more champagne, tasting menu, blissfully comfortable bed and a good nights sleep! Delightful cooked breakfast with complimentary birthday Mimosa, followed by a relaxing spa treatment, who could ask for more?!!
