Drymen Camping

This is a fantastic campsite which I have stayed at many times. It has well maintained pitches and Pods The showers, and toilets are clean and well maintained. There is a sheltered area where you can sit and prepare food, dry your clothes connect to WiFi and charge your devices. The location is prefect for the West Highland Way or a base to explore Loch Lomond and surrounding area. The owner, Gavin is warm and friendly and extremely helpful and Carolyn makes a fantastic Pizza. Thanks for a fantastic season of backpaking.

We had such a lovely stay at Drymen Camping! We were on pitch 13 and would definitely choose to stay here again. The site is surrounded by beautiful fields with horses, which made it feel so peaceful and relaxing. The facilities are really well looked after, with spacious showers that were a real bonus. The owner couldn’t have been more welcoming and helpful, which made the whole experience even better.

We stayed at the Green Pod in September. The pod has all the essentials, except for proper thermal insulation and/or a heater. Thus, it was a cold night for us, o spite of staying in a pod. We weren’t sure if we were missing the concept until we stayed in other pods along the WHW. This one was the first and the worst, especially factoring in the price. This was shocking since the staff was quite nice.
