Well set out with hedges between each placement. Helpful attendant. Access road is signed but you need to look carefully. Beach 1 mile walk through path which is a bit rocky in places.

We really enjoyed our stay. Figueira is a quiet town on the Algarve and beside one of the most beautiful beaches (1.5km). If you seek tranquility and relaxation, this is ideal. Great services and while you pay for shower / washing machine and electricity, it is all in a very reasonably priced campsite. Great value. The only downside is that the campsite is beside a road where every vehicle, that passes, can be heard.

Cozy place with basic services. The showers are solar hot water and €1 for 3 mins timed. €12 per night plus an extra €2 tourist tax pp in July and August. Electricity is by the unit used. Update 24/8/25 Since losing my husband, this has become one of my favourite places. I feel so welcome and safe here as a lone woman. They do a monthly rate which is about €280. They're updating the shower block and have added extra solar panels.
