Chalet Marmotte Mountain Big Bear

I stayed with my family in Chalet Marmotte Mountain Big Bear. We enjoyed staying there. We had catered food prepared by Chef Niels and his team, food was amazing and well presented we enjoyed all the food they served us. Amenities such as hot tub and sauna after a hike was such a great experience. We love the scenery and hiking trails especially the Lac Blanc trail. Plus the Chamonix Centre is just few minutes away. I highly recommend the Big Bear chalet and will definitely go back and will stay longer next time.

Our stay at Marmotte Mountain Big Bear Chalet was honestly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home. Fria, our wonderful host, made everything feel effortless and welcoming, and Niels—who is not only an incredible chef but also one of the kindest people we’ve met—made every meal feel like a special moment. They took care of absolutely everything for us. Ski passes, lessons, transfers, ski hire—things that would normally feel stressful—were handled so smoothly that all we had to do was enjoy being there. It felt like we could finally just breathe and soak in the trip. We also had amazing ski instructors, including who helped us grow in confidence and made every day on the mountain so much fun. And having Les Grands Montets only minutes away meant every ski day felt like a dream—perfect terrain, incredible views, and memories we’ll talk about for years. This wasn’t just a holiday; it felt like a truly special escape. We were taken care of with so much warmth and attention, and we’re so grateful to the team for making it such a magical experience.
