Chalet Le Dolent - La Fouly

The location is absolutely beautiful, the chalet is nice but absolutely not worth the price. It's wayy too expensive and the owners are extremely rude. They made us pay a 50.- charge for cleaners but also wanted us to leave the place spotless by 9:45 on the changeover day. The owners were so rude- avoid this place as much as you can.

We stayed in 7 different places all on the tour du mont blanc. This was the most basic of all 7. Everything was just adequate. There is no attempt to add any charm or anything a little cosy. The floors are basic, the walls are basic, the showers are primitive. There is no demi-pension so you should be ready to walk 10 minutes up and down a steep slope into town for dinner and breakfast. If nowhere else in La Fouly is available it is acceptable. They advertise themselves for large groups. When we stayed there was a large very noisy group that woke us up early. On the plus side there are chargers in the room and the bed is comfortable.

Basic refuge with full kitchen accessories to cook by yourself. Great beds, hot water, amazing view from the window.
