Chalet Chez Louis

My family and I (two adults and children aged 9 and 13) have just spent a truly heavenly week at Chalet Luis. We are experienced skiers and have long dreamed of staying directly on the pistes, avoiding all the usual logistics of getting to and from the ski area — and now we can’t imagine skiing any other way. The chalet is set in an absolutely magical location, with the Mont Blanc mountain range right outside the windows. It is warm, comfortable and beautifully designed, with lovely interiors and all the modern amenities you could possibly need. Everything is extremely well thought out and very well stocked, making it feel like a real home rather than a rental. The owners kindly arranged a grocery shop for our arrival, which was perfect, and there are also two restaurants within walking distance. We particularly loved leaving our car behind for the entire week and fully immersing ourselves in the mountains every single day. The snowmobile ride up the mountain with our luggage was an unforgettable experience in itself and set the tone for what was a very special stay. All in all, the hosts were excellent and responsive, the location is breathtaking, and Chalet Luis is a true haven for mountain and ski lovers. We will be back soon.

A fabulous, well-equipped & spotlessly clean chalet with the most helpful host & owners you could hope for. Valentina is amazing, she went out of her way to help us during our stay. I would give more than five stars if I could!

Wonderful chalet: quiet, easy to get to (by car), well-equipped, and amazing mountain/valley views (though not of Monte Bianco itself). Great communications with its owner (who spoke excellent English), and very friendly welcome by her mother (who had a translator with her). A little on the pricey side, but hard to find anywhere better for what we wanted.
