Generally it is a good place, but it seems that guests have more duties than hosts have commitments. We were told, that check in hours are 4pm-6pm, but the latest is 10pm. We arrived 9.40pm. The surfaces in the room were covered in dust and dirt, quality of accommodation was poor, bad smell inside, but we ventilated it out, toaster not working, in terrace you can meet armies of ants and flies. We found an English speaking person on the third day of our stay. We wanted to use laundry, but they charged us 10€, is nothing, but there was no any info about that. There is no air conditioning, a fan only. If you are sleeping with open windows, a singing pigeons will wake up you at 5am. But bed were comfortable. Owners cat made a shit directly in front of our entrance - no body cares, because it is cool to reconnect to nature. Extremely overpriced place. Breakfast was quite poor, they could make pancakes, because there were few families with kids, but might because of laziness they aren’t keen to put any efforts. We are disappointed of staying in Portugal rural place because of the owners attitude. Location is good, because it is easy to reach great beaches around.

Amazing stay at casa vicentina. The cleaniness of the accommodation, the grounds and wlaking routes around the property, friendliness of the staff and the general ambience was of a high standard. Breakfast was simple and delicious .. Within 15 minutes are some amazing beaches and by bike you can reach the nearby nature park along the cliffs. There is an interesting microclimate which for us meant the weather was amazing for the whole time. We stayed with the family and had an incredible time and we will be going back when in our favorite region of portugal.

This is the first two night stop on our InnTravel hike and it has been fantastic. Our room is huge with the biggest and most comfortable bed in the world. It opens onto a grassy lawn with a pool, though we didn't swim other guests did. The pool is built adjacent a couple of large ponds, full of wildlife. Our host Pedro was great. He served our dinner that had been prepared earlier by the kitchen ladies (as hikers we get to eat in while everyone else has to drive to the village). He also suggested some excellent wines to go with the meals and a good Port to go with desert. We will be back.
