If you’re looking for something special to make good memories, Casa Grande is the place. The old guest house convinces with it‘s unique beauty. The interior is made from a different time, so you immediatly feel relaxed. But the highlight wich makes the place so special are the people there. Sally is a lovely person who makes your breakfast special and offers good advices and Storys. I really enjoyed having breakfast with Sally and listening to her. The rooms have everything you need and if you miss something the wonderful staff will help you out. Marie & Pauline were very helpfull if you have any questions. I‘ll definetly come back and stay at the Casa Grande again. Lots of love! Roman

This place is very special and cannot be rated by normal hotel standards. When I first heard about it and later stayed there it reminded me of the "Best Exotic Marigold" hotel from the movie. You can see the old grandeur, it is still beautiful and it's falling apart. The huge garden is more like a jungle. The owner is something over 80 and always ready for a chat. If you like the charm of a place like that and don't mind the minor flaws that are coming with it you will thoroughly enjoy your stay.

Guests come here seeking a cozy home in this tiny surfing (probably was fishing) town, with a pristine cove that is about as perfect as you could imagine. It's a rambling place, worn in the best ways with a resident dog and a few cats keeping watch over the guests - some long term - some short. And of course the owner, Sally, who created and watches over all her guests. Plenty of places to eat and a great, healthy little grocery store are just a block or two or three away.
