Camping Villa Park Zambujeira

Visited in February with a tent. The camp is very very nice. They have nice spots with bushes around for caravans and we'll cleaned area for tents. There is a supermarket and a small restaurant right at the camp (it's part of it). The toilets and showers are very well maintained. The camp is a 5 mins outside the city, if you walk, but you can use their shuttle service to get to the beach. You can also grill at their public fireplaces or wash you clothes.

We had 6 great nights here. Pitches vary in size. Most have some shade. Reception staff are very friendly and helpful. There are several toilet blocks that are cleaned several times a day and the showers are brilliant. There is a good supermarket on site and the bar does food though we didn't try it. The town is a 10 minute walk away and is a laid back kind of place with plenty of bars and restaurants . There are great beaches close to town. What's not to like?

We are a UK retired couple that stayed on the campsite in our caravan in September/October 2025 for 20 nights. Our plan was to stay for 7 nights! For us it is one of the top campsites we have stayed on. Of particular note were the superbly clean showers and toilets along with the well maintained pitches, the free WiFi, the always friendly smiling and helpful staff, the excellent supermarket, the general atmosphere, and the choice of shaded or sunny pitches. The location worked well for us with a good choice of beautiful beaches or coves a short walk away and cycling on the small quiet roads and gravel tracks reasonably accessible (we do not cycle on main roads in Portugal). It is unusual for us to return to a campsite within a few years but in this instance we will be back on our next trip to Portugal. Thank you to all at Villa Park Zambujeira.
