Not sure what is it about all bad reviews? What’s the difference between residents living in a tent (with a beautiful gardens and decorations) and people in a huge expensive campers, who spend a season in a campground? They pay same price, using same paths, water and breathing same air. It is very disturbing to me, reading all those bad comments about people, who are always polite, always smiling and taking a good care of their little piece of land here - even if they do not have much - they are kind. Camping itself is big, there is enough space for everyone and their dogs. You will find shade from the trees, on which you can hang your laundry. What’s more - there is even a special place (next to the washing machines) for drying laundry, which I find very convenient. Bathrooms are basic, but the cleaning lady does a great job, taking care of everything every day. It’s spotless. And very hot water in the showers! That’s a shame that there is only cold water in the area for washing dishes, but I noticed it’s like that in all the campsites in Portugal and Spain. Same for hand-wash-laundry facilities. You can find peace here, no one will disturb you, it is super quiet at night. I love it here and can highly recommend that place. Especially that it is within walking distance to the city centre.

I liked this camping a lot in previous years. Mainly for two reasons. It is very good situated in walking disyance close to the old town wich is a must to visit. Second it lived several interesting people on the camping which gave it a special charm. Now the people seem to be more introvert and not so open. Due to contract issues the maintenance seems to be set to a minimum. However the service buildings are kept very clean. The showers have warm vater. Bring your own toiletpaper. The washing machine is broken but there are machines in the nearby shop. A very good shop that i reccomend. Electricity on all spots. Filling and empty water. Restaurant at the entrance.

A ramshackle campsite but just outside the city walls. All services available if a little run down but very clean. Good place to stay. Inexpensive.
