Boutique Hotel Vivenda Miranda

This place is absolutely stunning. A beautiful boutique hotel, intimate, clean, and has great views. The rooms are spacious and beautiful. We had a lovely patio looking out to the garden with an ocean view. The front desk staff was very helpful and friendly. We had really slow service for dinner at their restaurant (so slow that by the time we got our servers attention to order our main meal, they said the kitchen was closed). Their bar service was also pretty slow. Having said all of that, I would still go back in a heartbeat. It's in a really quiet part of town with walking access to a beautiful beach.

Was it special … NOT AT ALL In a low season, where we booked for Monday - Tuesday nights , and when the hotel was booked for ONLY 5 rooms out of 27 , the hotel failed to make it special for us. The room given , room number 12 , the bathroom is in middle of basins and washroom, check the pictures to visualize that the whole water comes out whilst showering On top the WC pot was all scratched due to WC cleaning brush. Also the maintenance came to check the room without taking permission , while we were just in the terrace to clicking pics, when we came back they were in the room. We could have been in any other way; God forbid. All our precious belongings were on the table and they just entered without taking our consent. When we requested the staff to upgrade at least for the second night as we werent happy with the room, the lady - Manuel showed us only 2 rooms, 1 dedicated to special need with higher WC and second an even worst room than ours. We found water stains in tables in our room and hand impressions on things. We would not at all recommend the hotel. In spite of having the inventory in off season during November cold week days , staff shunned to give us a better room. When we asked for the price difference, the staff didn’t know basic maths and quoted the same over 450EUROs to upgrade the same amount we paid to book. F& B was great . Loved the experience of breakfast or evening at the bar. However that doesn’t do justice for the stay experience we had. Once could stay anywhere n come here for a meal. NOT RECOMMENDED. We have stayed in many five-star and above hotels, but this place was truly special. We had never experienced a boutique hotel. The service was excellent, and every moment of our stay was a delight. The view was stunning, and we will definitely return. The food was fantastic, and breakfast was superb. The staff’s attention to detail and warm hospitality were outstanding. In particular Francesco who had his first day working there, was very nice. Thanks to everybody.
