Amaria

My wife and I were in Portugal for 2 weeks and Amaria was easily the most lovely, serene, and comfortable of the several places at which we stayed. Not only is the resort itself gorgeous, the setting spectacular and tranquil, and the accommodations deeply comfortable (great linens, spacious room, generous upholstered seating, a terrific and easily lit fireplace/wood stove with plenty of wood available, open and airy views), but - unknown to us until we arrived - a stay at Amaria includes a truly superb breakfast, and a top notch gourmet, yet home cooked, dinner is available upon request. Plus a well stocked honor bar in their lovely library/lounge area. Not to mention the best sauna ever, pool with a view, gorgeous landscaping ...I could go on.

This place was a dream! From the moment we arrived, everything was beyond perfect. The hotel is in such a beautiful location; on top of a hill, overlooking the valley and with views onto the ocean. Hearing the sound of the waves made it even better. The food at the property was so good too; shout out to the chef! She did an amazing job, and this made our stay even more pleasant. I’d come back anytime here, already looking forward to it. Thank you!

Such a lovely place on earth and perfect to unwind and enjoy food (amazing breakfast and homemade dinners), nature, good company and a glass of wine. The whole team is very kind, helpful and supportive to create a wonderful experience. Be sure to enjoy the Sauna and the fire place in your room - both are magical. We hope to come back one day.
