I had a great experience with the Alpenrose hostel. The owners are very nice kind people, during my stay i met several other travellers as the atmosphere is very friendly. The room had lockers and everything including the kitchen is very organized and clean. They also have a terrace. I very much recommend this place to stay

clean facility and quiet environment. lovely place to stay. owner was very kind and supportive during the stay. I would like to visit again. There is grocery store in 2mins from the hostel. great view behind the hostel.

Super basic hostel. No breakfast. Dorm rooms are just 20 beds in big room. No towels. Location is 1 mile (2km) from center of chamonix so 30 minute walk with skis. There is bus stop near by but bus comes once every hour. Would recommend staying elsewhere. Positive is that there is a kitchen.
