UPDATE - THEY DID NOT EVEN ALLOW US TO USE THE ROOM WITHOUT OUR BABY, MARKED US AS NO SHOW AND RESOLD THE ROOM. Evicted at 8PM with our 7-month-old baby. Disgusting behavior. Avoid at all costs. Shared bathroom, loud noisy street. Parking full. We booked two nights at this guesthouse through Booking.com — two adults and our 7-month-old baby, who sleeps in our bed. The child policy said “Children over 6 are welcome,” but did not prohibit infants. We were already checked in and unpacked. At 8PM, the owner called us and ordered us to leave immediately, saying babies weren’t allowed — even though nothing in the policy says that. He spoke with zero empathy, acted like it was our fault, and told us he’d arrive in 45 minutes if we weren’t gone — a thinly veiled threat. Not even a discussion. No offer of compromise. Just get out or else. We were left to find shelter at night in a foreign country with a baby. And he refused to refund us. Said maybe he’d refund the second night if he “manages to resell it.” We’ve since discovered another review describing the exact same thing: a mother and 6-month-old baby thrown out late at night. This man has done it before. This is not a hospitality professional. This is a cruel, arrogant man who should not be in the business of welcoming guests. DO NOT STAY HERE — especially if you’re a family. Absolutely disgraceful conduct.

One of the worst hotel experiences we’ve ever had. We checked in earlier in the day, used the room, and went out for dinner. When we returned late at night with our baby, the hotel refused us entry. We were shocked to find out they had marked us as a “no show” and resold our room to someone else — despite our confirmed booking, payment, and check-in. No explanation, no apology, no help — just left us outside at night, with a baby, surrounded by mosquitoes and nowhere to go. The room itself was already disappointing: full of mosquitoes, extremely noisy due to the main road, and had a shared bathroom, which wasn’t clearly disclosed. Even worse, they used a vague, hidden clause saying “children over 6 welcome” to justify their actions — yet said nothing at check-in and only raised this after kicking us out. We’ve now seen another review describing the exact same situation — this seems to be a pattern. This isn’t just poor service — it’s completely unacceptable behavior. We’re reporting the hotel to Booking.com, local authorities, and consumer protection agencies. Avoid at all costs.

We were kicked out of this property late at night, with our 6-month-old baby, after having already checked in and used the room. We were later shocked to find out the host had marked us as a “no show” and resold the room, leaving us stranded. Now, they’re trying to claim we “hid” the baby — when in fact, we walked in, checked in face to face, and were physically seen by the host with our baby stroller. If infants were not allowed, why were we given access to the room in the first place? Only after they got a better offer or double-booked did they suddenly decide we were in violation of their policy — and conveniently marked us as a “no show” on Booking.com to avoid responsibility. Booking.com has since confirmed that hosts can do this at their discretion, and they offer no protection to guests in such situations. That’s the real scandal. Their claim that they “offered help” is also false — we received no assistance, no refund, and no sympathy. Just silence. The room itself was full of mosquitoes, noisy from the main road, and had a shared bathroom — none of which was clearly disclosed. The policy about children is buried in fine print under “house rules” and states “children over 6 welcome.” Six what? Days? Months? Years? It’s vague, poorly written, and weaponized to justify kicking us out after taking our money. This experience was shocking, distressing, and shameful. If you’re traveling with a child — or simply want peace of mind that your confirmed room won’t be resold — avoid this property and think twice about Booking.com’s protection.
