Almograve Beach Hostel

The room in itself was nice and we slept well. The waterproof sheets weren’t nice so we removed them. And the very strong laundrydetergent smell in the sheets was repulsive. They don’t take card. And there are no spoons in the kitchen. Recommend eating at the Nepalese restaurant in town. Nadia was nice.

There we 4 of us travelling so we booked the 4 person room. There was very little communication from the hosts, the beds were creeky and felt unstable . The mattress and pillow wet so thin they could have come out of a dolls house. There was no mirror in the room and we could not lock the door. Our bathroom was in the middle of the kitchen, nice first thing in the morning having to use it in front of every one having breakfast. The breakfast was €9 a head we wanting town and paid less than €4. I would really recommend you try and find somewhere else to stay, I can not recommend this place.

Self check in only, I did not see any staff around. The room and bathroom was clean. The kitchen equipment is very basic (cutlery!) The check in and out times are very strict.
