Aiguille du Midi - Hôtel & Restaurant - Fermeture temporaire

Fabulous location for lunch or dinner as a non resident. Incredible views whether eating inside or out. Warm and friendly management that never cease to make you feel a home. Consistently high standard of food with solid wine selection. My advice is to miss breakfast or lunch before you go there, trust me you will want to make the most of all that's on offer/included. A graceful and peaceful oasis in what can be a manic valley on occasions.

We loved everything about the hotel! We came to get a bit of wintry Christmasy atmosphere and we’re not disappointed. On arrival we were given a table for lunch with a spectacular view of the famous Aiguille du Midi which we enjoyed with our delicious lunch. Checking into our room we found the same spectacular view from our balcony. Our room though not large was very comfortable with a modern walk in shower and two windows! Our dinners at the hotel were excellent starting with tasty aperitif snacks and ending with an amazing buffet of desserts. Breakfast was equally impressive. We loved that the hotel is only a short walk from the train which runs through the valley allowing easy access to Chamonix and the other villages for free as hotel guests get a free pass! We highly recommend this hotel for a winter visit and look forward to coming again in the summer to take advantage of the pool and many activities available in the valley!

Excellent dining in the restaurant - last minute booking for five to dine with only 1 hour notice. Staff really helpful and friendly. Difficultly with card payment (tried 3 different cards) - resolved because I had enough cash but they could have given a bank link for a direct payment otherwise. Will definitely return again to dine.
